The Lake Washington girls golf team defeated Roosevelt by 33 strokes Thursday at the par 37 West Seattle Golf Course. The Kangs were led by Elena Good, who completed the course in 55 strokes. Carie Stinogel and Kenet Wood tied for second with 63 strokes for Lake Washington. Madison Cox was the final Kang to place in the top five, shooting a 67 for fourth place.

Lake Washington will tee off at 3 p.m. Thursday for a match against Bothell.
