Watch out for bicyclists during 7 Hills of Kirkland event

Commuters should use extra caution due to the 7 Hills of Kirkland event to be held on city streets on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30. Riders will be present on roadways from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. A route map is posted online at www.kirklandwa.gov/specialevents. Event organizers anticipate 1,500 cyclists will participate in the annual event which raises money to end homelessness. The event will begin and end at Marina Park.

Event goers are encouraged to carpool and plan for parking in advance.
