Santa speaks from Nova Scotia; on his way to Kirkland

8 p.m.

This is the transmission from Santa via a phone call we received two minutes ago from somewhere over Halifax, Nova Scotia.

We just arrived in Halifax and I love visiting Canada. Comet reminded me we have to pick up some maple syrup for the pancakes tomorrow morning. A few too many kids are trying to stay up to see me this year and putting me a bit behind schedule. Remember, I can’t come down the chimney if you are not asleep. I know it is exciting to think about tomorrow morning. We are hoping that there will be more kids asleep a little early so we can make up more time but we should be okay. Should still get to Kirkland on time. Hoping that some of you can help us out and go to sleep a little bit early. Remember, the faster you go to sleep the quicker morning will arrive. I am looking forward to seeing the New York City skyline and passing over the Rockies later tonight. Mount Rainier will be great sight as well.

Well, thank you for tracking my progress and thank you to the Kirkland Reporter for helping me get the word out.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Ho Ho Ho
