Pajama Bowl for foster kids, April 18

Sleep Country USA, the Northwest’s largest seller of premium mattresses, will host its fifth annual Pajama Bowl for Foster Kids on Sunday, April 18 at Tech City Bowl, 13033 N.E. 70th Place, Kirkland.

Last year’s Pajama Bowl event inspired hundreds of caring individuals to don their favorite pajamas and bowl two games, raising more than $77,000 to support Oregon and Washington’s over 26,000 foster children.

To register, visit www.pajamabowl.com. A minimum of $250 in sponsorship money per five-person team (only $50 per person) is required to participate, and each team will be able to designate the recipient foster organization that will receive their sponsorship dollars.

Pajama Bowl teams are encouraged to wear their favorite pair of family-friendly pajamas during the event.

Each team will receive a score at the end of the event based upon their combined bowling average, amount donated, plus any additional points awarded for pajamas and raffles. The team with the most points at the end of the event will take home the grand prize of a brand new queen-size Simmons® Beautyrest® mattress set, also known as the “Bowling Ball” mattress, for each member of the winning team. Runner-up prizes will be awarded for second and third place.
