Lake Washington High School to say goodbye to gym and theatre

Two final public events will be held at Lake Washington High School in the Chapple Gymnasium and in the Cadle Theatre to say goodbye to the old facilities as they close to make way for new, improved facilities as part of the school’s construction project – to open in fall 2011. LWHS’s Cadle Theatre will be drawing its final curtain on April 17. What better way to bid farewell to a theatre than to celebrate with song and dance? LWHS Drama will present “Closing Night,” featuring Broadway show tunes performed by talented musical theatre students.Come say goodbye to Cadle and support the LWHS drama program of the future.

Performances run at 7 p.m. April 16-17. Cost is $8. Also on April 17, join Kang Alumni from 1950 to 2010 to reminisce about “LW through the Ages,” a reception and mingle to be held at the Chapple Gymnasium from 3–7 p.m. Meet and greet classmates, reminisce in the student center, peruse and purchase athletic photos and stroll the halls.

Refreshments will be provided in the cafeteria.
