Judith Lynn Solo

Judith Lynn Solo

Judith Lynn Solo passed away on May 9, 2016 at 10:53 p.m. Judy was born on January 3, 1943 to Daniel John Supplee and Frances Marie Supplee in Seattle, WA. She was one of five siblings.

Judy graduated from Federal Way High School in 1961 and attended Washington State University before enlisting in the Air Force on July 31, 1962. Judy was awarded the National Title of ‘WAF’ of-the- month after completing the U.S. Air Force training for technical Instructors at Lackland Airforce Base, Texas, where she also served as an instructor in the Base Military Training. She later married and had two children that meant the world to her.

She is survived by her son, David Lee Solo and her daughter Teresa Lynn Obert. She leaves two grandsons, Christian and Anthony, three siblings, Sheila, Paula, and Danny, her beloved dog, Lilly and her two kitties, Little Bear and Lucy.

Judy started her family in Carnation, Washington on a 20 acre farm but moved to Kirkland with her two children where she worked at Physio Control and later as a caregiver. She spent the last 5 years of her life in Snohomish, WA, enjoying her pets, family and many friends. Judy was a beautiful person in oh-so-many ways; spiritually, to her children, grandchildren and the many loved ones she called friends. She blessed this earth with her kind and generous spirit, gentle demeanor and everpresent smile. She loved animals, flowers, reading, collecting dolls, taking long walks and found great joy watching her grandson, Christian, perform in plays and musicals.

Her kindness will be long remembered as she didn’t have a mean bone in her body, and her gentle presence will always be cherished by those she loved most. In her final months, Judy found great solace reading the bible and having her family and friends near. Her favorite movie, Under the Tuscan Sun, resonated her values; to be true to one’s self and embrace your friends and family, wherever they are found. Judy treasured those close to her, she gave of herself unconditionally, and those of us who knew her will miss her forever.

Please join us to celebrate her life on Saturday, June 18th at 1:00 at Revive Church at 11500 Woodinville-Redmond Rd NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
