Between May 12 – May 18, there were 325 traffic incidents, 30 traffic accidents, one DUIs, 26 general traffic incidents, 25 alarm calls, four abandoned vehicles, three burglaries, 10 incidents of fraud, 10 civil incidents, six cases of harassment, 18 thefts, 17 vehicle prowls, two vehicle thefts, 13 warrants served, 12 noise complaints, four animal calls, 16 incidents of domestic violence, 15 disturbances and one sex offense.

May 13

Robbery: 1:17 p.m., 11600 block of 124th ave. NE; A 25-year-old Carnation male was arrested after attempting to rob a Subway store.

May 14

Assault: 2:02 p.m., 13900 block of 129th Pl. NE; A 36-year-old male was taken into custody after assaulting his mother with pepper spray.

May 15

Order violation: 2:21 a.m., 10200 block of Slater Ave. NE; A 50-year-old female stated she and her ex-boyfriend, a 56-year-old male, had been together most of the day, even with a domestic violence protection order in effect. The female stated she was at the male’s house. Officers arrived on scene to find both of them inside his residence. The male was arrested for violation of a protection order.

May 16

Hit-and-run: 3:32 p.m., 11300 block of NE 124th st.; After a rear-end collision with a 73-year-old woman, the driver of the at-fault vehicle — a 31-year-old man — left the scene and then attempted to avoid contact with police. The male was caught and arrested for hit and run, and driving with a suspended license in the third degree. He was booked and released at Kirkland Jail.

May 17

Domestic: 12:35 p.m., 12600 block of 112th Pl.; A 39-year-old man reported being assaulted by his 40-year-old wife. The woman stated she was tired of her husband being wishy-washy about getting a divorce and yanked his glasses off his face, causing a scratch and red marks. The woman was arrested and booked.

May 18

Theft: 4:56 p.m., 8600 block of 120th Ave. NE; A 45-year-old man was detained by Costco Loss Prevention after he attempted to shoplift batteries, a Happy Squeeze Mango Box and a package of Kirkland dried blueberries. The man was cited and released in the field.

Warrant arrest: 8:40 p.m., 14400 block of 124th ave. NE; A 29-year-old female was arrested on her outstanding warrants from Woodinville and Edmonds. Upon a search, drug paraphernalia was discovered in the woman’s purse, but the woman told the arresting officer she had not used heroin that day. The woman was transported to the warrant meet with Edmonds PD and arrested despite her new claim she had just used heroin.
