Between March 21-27, the Kirkland Police Department reported 530 traffic violations, 17 school zone traffic violations, eight DUIs, two animal calls, 38 alarm calls, 12 noise complaints, two juvenile crimes, nine calls of disturbance, 20 thefts, 13 car prowls, three car thefts, 12 traffic accidents, 13 calls of civil disturbance, five reported burglaries, eight domestic violence calls, nine calls for harassment, three reports of illegal drugs, two alleged assaults, 22 acts of fraud, 14 malicious mischief reports, two sex offenses, one vice call, one robbery, one rape and two calls for suicide. At least 24 people were arrested.

March 26

Warrant: 10:12 p.m., 400 block of Central Way. A 51-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were arrested on felony warrants after the older man was stopped on a traffic related incident.

March 25

Warrant: 2:50 a.m., 14300 block of 124th Ave. NE. A 27-year-old man was arrested on a driving while license suspended warrant.

March 23

Theft: 10:37 a.m., 8600 block of 120th Ave. NE. A 50-year-old man was arrested for stealing $134 worth of merchandise from Costco. He stole boxers, socks and four Blue Ray DVDs.

March 22

Warrant: 5 p.m., 14400 block of 124th Ave. NE. A 23-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting multiple bottles of liquor from the Kingsgate Safeway. He also had a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. During processing, drug paraphernalia and heroin was found in his back pack.
