EvergreenHealth opens new location in Kenmore

EvergreenHealth opened its new Kenmore location this month.

Just across the street from City Hall in the LINQ at Spencer Square building at 18151 68th Ave. N.E., Suite 100, the location offers enhanced primary and urgent care.

This is EvergreenHealth’s 12th primary care location and fifth urgent care clinic. The Kirkland-based health care provider hosted a grand opening event for the new location on Nov. 8 and featured several speakers, including EvergreenHealth CEO Bob Malte and Kenmore Mayor David Baker. During the event, community members filled the clinic and received tours from staff.

Sasha Weiler, director of public relations for EvergreenHealth, said this event was a chance for staff to celebrate their new location with family and friends.

According to Weiler, this new facility will begin to meet the demand for primary care in Kenmore, while also helping the center of the city feel more like a downtown area.

“We are excited about our deepening commitment to what has been a long-standing relationship with the Kenmore community,” Malte said. “With this expansion of services, we are enhancing the patient experience, while also realizing our organization’s long-term strategic plan to expand our footprint thoughtfully to meet the needs of our growing community.”

The facility features a number of new and different technologies and services under one roof, Weiler said. The point-of-care lab testing, which will allow the clinic to provide immediate blood test results, was previously only used in hospital settings. In addition, the new clinic will also offer physical therapy, 3-D mammography screening, X-ray services and will eventually feature a dentist office in the same building.

EvergreenHealth also offers mammography screenings in Kirkland, but according to Weiler, the location is often very busy, so the Kenmore clinic will help meet that demand.

The new location will also feature featuring six care areas that can act as primary or urgent care rooms. Weiler said EvergreenHealth aims to personalize their patient experience and created office rooms separate from their exam rooms for care providers to meet with patients in a more relaxed setting.

“Our small, but mighty practice has taken care of generations of families — and created lasting, meaningful relationships with those who have entrusted us with their care,” said Dr. Tim Anderson, an EvergreenHealth provider who also spoke at the grand opening event. “While this new, larger and more sophisticated location will help us continue the tradition of care in Kenmore, what will not change is the personal touch and the bonds that are formed between our care team and our patients.”

Primary care at the Kenmore location operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The urgent care is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
