Matt Nilsson will attend Central Washington University to play football, while Nathan Dean will also play football for the Huskies and Avery Linn will play soccer for Bellevue College.

Linn said she chose Bellevue College because it was nearby and she wanted to stay close.

“It was kind of a last minute decision and I wanted to play,” said the center fielder.

Nilsson said he picked the Wildcats because it too is close to home.

“It’s a good program and it allows me to move on and compete at a higher level,” he said.

Dean will move to Montlake and play for the University of Washington.

“I grew up a huge UW fan, it’s pretty much my dream school. It had everything I needed athletically and academically and the program is just skyrocketing right now,” he said.

The group joins two other Juanita students, Molly Grager and Allison Rhodes who signed earlier in the school year. Grager plans to play basketball at Seattle Pacific, while Rhodes will play softball at Notre Dame.
