Lake Washington’s Darien Nelson-Henry WIBCA 3A player of the year

Lake Washington High School senior Darien Nelson-Henry was named the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association's 3A player of the year this week.

Lake Washington High School senior Darien Nelson-Henry was named the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association’s 3A player of the year this week.

Nelson-Henry will join other members of the 3A all-state roster during the WIBCA all state games on Saturday, March 10.

The games will be held on Saturday, March 10 at Curtis High School in University Place.

There will be three games, starting at 2 p.m. with the 1B vs. 2B teams. The 3A vs. 4A game will take place at 6 p.m.

The event is $10 for adults, and $8 for seniors, high school students and kids under 12.

Nelson-Henry joins players from Seattle Prep, Kennedy, O’Dea, Shorecrest, Mountlake Terrace, Decatur, Shadle Park, Eastside Catholic and Wilson in a game against the top 4A players in the state.
