Swimming: Lake Washington boys lose to Ballard

The Lake Washington boys swim team lost to Ballard Tuesday at Juanita Pool, 112-68, during the final meet of the regular season. Alex Coffey and Peter Loft had the best performances of the meet for the Kangs, winning one individual race each and combining to help teammates Hayden Hurley and Mike Polyakov to take first in the 200-yard freestyle relay in a time of 1:37.09. Coffey won the 50-yard freestyle (22.93), while Loft dominated the 100-yard freestyle (55.04). George Meier was the only other Lake Washington athlete to win an event, scoring 200.60 points during the diving competition.
