Rainy weather forces move of Juanita’s first district game | Prep softball playoffs

The first game of the SeaKing district softball tournament for Juanita High School was moved to the Southwest Recreational Complex in West Seattle this afternoon after the fields at Lower Woodland Park were deemed unplayable by Seattle Parks and Rec.

Yesterday’s stormy weather, coupled with more rain today caused the shift of all softball district games, which will now be played at various locations around the Seattle area.

The Juanita game, which will be against the winner of the Chief Sealth-West Seattle match up, will still start at 4 p.m.
