The Lake Washington swim team lost to Woodinville Tuesday 109-68 at Juanita pool. The Kangs were led by Alex Coffey, who won two individual races for the team. Coffey began the meet by taking first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.70 and then went on to win the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.60. Lake Washington’s Hayden Hurley took first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:07.70, while teammate Peter Loft won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.37). The Kangs’ George Meier won his second diving competition of the year by scoring 175.35 points. The Kangs will be back in action at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, hosting Bellevue at Juanita pool.
