After Lake Tapps made a convincing second half scoring run, the Lake Washington boys lacrosse team held on for a 11-10 win on Tuesday, March 22.

After Lake Tapps made a convincing second half scoring run, the Lake Washington boys lacrosse team held on for a 11-10 win on Tuesday, March 22.

The Kangs had a 8-3 lead going into the second half, but Lake Tapps closed the gap and quickly caught up to Lake Washington, but the Kangs were able to hold on for the win. Lake Washington is now 2-2 this season.

Jake Bernstein put up four goals for Lake Washington, with an assists and two ground balls. Ben Anderson added two goals of his own, while Reilly Blackner had seven ground balls for the team and goalie Jonah Friedl had six saves.

The week before the team beat Lynnwood 13-6 for the first win of the season.

Jake Bernstein had five goals for the Kangs and Cody Bernstein added four goals and five ground balls for the team.

Jonah Friedl had six saves in goal for the group.

Lake Washington lost a non league game to Bainbridge on Friday, March 11 15-8.
