Lake Washington hosts Kang Klassic tournament June 17-19

The annual Kangs Klassic basketball tournament will be held next weekend. The tournament, featuring local varsity and junior varsity squads, will begin on Friday June 17 and runs through June 19 with the championship games.

The annual Kangs Klassic basketball tournament will be held next weekend. The tournament, featuring local varsity and junior varsity squads, will begin on Friday June 17 and runs through June 19 with the championship games.

All varsity games will be held at Lake Washington High School, while the JV tournament will be played at Kirkland Junior High. Admission is $5 for adult, $3 for seniors and anyone 11 and under is free.

The tournament will feature local teams such as Lake Washington, Bothell, Juanita, Woodinville as well as Kentwood, Roosevelt, Stadium and Burlington Edison.

Games on Friday begin at 4:30 p.m. and run until 9:10 p.m. and pick back up on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. The varsity championship game will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
