The Lake Washington season came to an end Friday evening with a 75-61 loss to Rainier Beach.

Lake Washington was in the hunt for the final state berth out of the district tournament, but ran into the No. 2 team in the state, after Rainier Beach was pushed to the consolation bracket with a loss to Bellevue.

Lake Washington entered the district tournament as the No. 3 seed after a loss to Bellevue in the KingCo tournament. The Kangs made last year’s 4A state tournament and this year moved into the 3A classification.

The Kangs ended the season with a 15-11 record.
