The Lake Washington High School girls soccer team defeated Mercer Island on Wednesday, 4-0, bringing the team one win from the State tournament.

The Lake Washington High School girls soccer team defeated Mercer Island on Wednesday, 4-0, bringing the team one win from the State tournament.

The Kangs first goal came unassisted from Emily Bunnell.

Gracie Sturdevant scored the team’s second goal on an assist by Lauren Curlanis.

The second half began with A. Henderson taking a pass from Caroline Ross and putting into the back of the Islander’s net. Bunnell finished off the Kang’s scoring with her second goal of the game.

Lake Washington will play a team from the Metro league for the right to advance into the State tournament.
