Six Lake Washington players finished the game with RBI, including junior Alex Donnelly, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Lake Washington sophomore Zach Johnson picked up his first victory of the season.

The Kangs started the season with a big comeback against the Patriots, during a 6-5 victory. Lake Washington fell behind 2-1 during the third but their offense exploded during the top of the sixth inning, scoring five runs. A shaky bullpen and defense gave up three runs during the bottom of the sixth. Overall, Lake Washington committed three errors during the game and gave up just one earned run.

The Kangs were led by senior catcher Colin Trembay, who finished the game 2-for-4 with three BRI.
