Lake Sammamish girls lacrosse falls to defending state champions in semi-finals

The four time defending state champions proved to be too much for the Lake Sammamish girls lacrosse team in Wednesday night's state semi-final game.

The four time defending state champions proved to be too much for the Lake Sammamish girls lacrosse team in Wednesday night’s state semi-final game. Lakeside defeated Lake Sammamish 19-9 at Lakeside Upper School in Seattle. Lake Sammamish finished it’s season with a 9-4 record. Lakeside will advance to play Bainbridge in the state championship game on Saturday.

Sarah Pllonow of Lakeside finished the game with six goals, while her teammate Emma Dorland had 3 goals. Ali Savage scored four goals for Lake Sammamish and Grace Hamilton finished with 10 saves.
