The Lake Sammamish girls lacrosse team got a big boost on Monday night from Lake Washington High School junior Maggie Lehr as she scored a season high six goals for the team during their 22-16 win over Bellevue at Marymoor Park.

The Lake Sammamish girls lacrosse team got a big boost on Monday night from Lake Washington High School junior Maggie Lehr as she scored a season high six goals for the team during their 22-16 win over Bellevue at Marymoor Park.

Lehr’s teammate, Ali Savage added four goals to the team’s total, while Alison Clements had another three. Lake Sammamish goalie Grace Hamilton had 10 saves in the win.

The team is currently 5-3-0 this season with 10 points, sitting in a tie for fifth place with Snohomish.

Lake Sammamish will take on Garfield tomorrow afternoon beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Magnuson Park.

The Lake Washington boys lacrosse team beat Port Angles 12-1 last Saturday. The boys division II team, in their first season, had three goals from Cooper Ramstead, two from Cody Bernstein and another two from Trevor Watkins during the team’s win. Goalie Luke Lattin had four saves during the game.

The team hosts Liberty this evening at Lake Washington High School and will host Mount Si on Thursday evening. Both games start at 7 p.m.

Lake Washington is currently undefeated with a 7-0 record so far this season, sitting in the top spot of the Division II Evergreen conference.
