At 14 Mitchie Brusco has already done a lot of things guys twice his age haven’t. He just took sixth overall in the Dew Tour Vert Competition and has all but grown up on a skateboard. Now he’s taking part in his first ever X Games in Los Angles. He’s competing in the Big Air skateboarding competition against guys like Bob Burnquist of Brazil, who has competed in every X Games, going back to the first in 1995.

Brusco, though, has a leg up on some of his competition. He’s landed one of the most difficult moves a skater can try, the 900. A two and a half revolution, while airborne, is difficult for even seasoned skaters. Brusco was the youngest to ever hit it during the MegaRamp championship earlier in July in Brazil.
