Kirkland National Little League softball all stars win state title

After winning the District 9 tournament in early July the Kirkland National Little League fastpitch softball all star team won the state tournament.

After winning the District 9 tournament in early July the Kirkland National Little League fastpitch softball all star team won the state tournament.

The team repeated as the state champions, now at the 10-11 year old level. In the eight games since the district tournament started the team has outscored it’s opponents 84-3. Lisa Nelson threw three no hitters and Tatum Kawabata had one no hitter.

The two time state champion Kirkland National Little League team includes: Sophia Swain, Gianna Paribello, Alyxa Blackburn, Megan Murray, Tatum Kawabata, Brynn Radke, Geneva Galloway, Talia Starr, Kristina Warford, Lisa Nelson, Clare Sovacool, and coaches Bob Swain, Charlie Sovacool and manager Nolan Radke.
