With the winter basketball season officially getting underway earlier this week, the Lake Washington boys basketball boosters have scheduled the first ever Kang Madness event.

On Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at LWHS both the boys and girls basketball teams will celebrate the beginning of a new season. Similar to collegiate midnight madness events, the team, along with the cheerleaders and dance team, will be on hand for various events. There will be a blind folded basketball game, half court fan shoot and dash for cash.

This is the only event of the year that will bring together both the girls and boys basketball teams.

Organizers are asking for a donation of two non-perishable food items as admission to the event. The food raised to be donated to Hopelink in Kirkland.
