The Juanita girls golf team lost to Bellevue and beat Sammmaish last week in conference meets.

On Thursday, April 21 at Wellington Hills Bellevue won with 234 strokes to Juanita’s 254. Wellington Hills has a par 34.

Juanita’s Kyla Terashima tied for third place with a 47, while Jessica Latousek tied for fifth, shooting a 48 during the competition.

Against Sammamish at Bellevue Municipal golf course, with a par of 35, the Rebels beat behind the Totems. Juanita scored a first place finish with 268 strokes, while Sammamish had 294.

Jessica Latousek won the individual event for Juanita with a score of 45, while teammate Marykate Shurman had 50.

Lake Washington golfers beat Sammamish

The Lake Washington golf team beat Sammamish at Bellevue Municipal on Monday, April 25. The Kangs had a 260 stroke team score, while Sammamish recorded a 294 team score.

Lake Washington’s Carrie Stinogel had 46 strokes for the win, while Elena Good had 51 for third place. Teammate Anna Jessen had a 53 and Madison Cox and Marian Harris were part of a three way tie for fifth with a score of 55.
