The Juanita High School boys basketball team lost to Bellevue, 79-58, on Tuesday in Bellevue during the team’s first in-league game.

The Rebels were outscored 21-7 during the first quarter but recovered to pull back within a 37-27 margin by halftime. Bellevue pulled away during the second half, outscoring the Rebels by 11 points.

AJ Peacocke led Juanita with 20 points, while teammates Danny Eason had 16 points and Ravi Regan Hughes had nine points.

The Rebels will try to get back on track at 8 p.m. on Friday as they host Liberty.
