Cause of death identified for body found in Bridle Trails State Park between Bellevue and Kirkland

The body found in Bridle Trails State Park Friday was morning was that of a 45-year-old Bellevue man who committed suicide with a shotgun, according to the King County Medical Examiner.

The body found in Bridle Trails State Park Friday was morning was that of a 45-year-old Bellevue man who committed suicide with a shotgun, according to the King County Medical Examiner.

The body was discovered by a jogger at around 11 a.m.

According to Bellevue Police records, the department had sent out officers to serve papers to him at his residence that same day. Court records also show that the man had a temporary protection order issued out against him.
