The Juanita cross country teams hosted a meet against Sammamish on Wednesday afternoon at St. Edwards State Park.

In the boys competition Santos Zaid took second place overall with a time of 17:26, and teammate James Bauman finished close behind in third place with 17:36 on the clock. Andrew Burt took 8th place at 19:32, Erik Oldenburger was 9th with 19:59 and Ajay Joshi was 16th at 21:02. Grant Hanner’s time was 21:30 and finished in 19th place, while Nathan O’Farrell was 20th with a time of 21:40.

In the girls race, Alexis Manns was second overall at 20:36, while Molly Grager was third at 21:07. Emily Peterson came in fourth at 22:14, while Leina McDermott was sixth at 23:18. Rachel Blanch finished with a time of 23:21 for seventh place and Regi Lammers was ninth overall with a 25:23 time. Tenth place went to Kathryn Wuchter with a time of 25:36.
