Juanita girls hold Sammamish to 10 points

It was a mismatch from the start of Wednesday’s game. That start included a 27-0 first quarter and the end result was a 56-10 blowout by the Juanita High School girls basketball team against Sammamish during the first in-league game of the year.

The Totem’s best quarter against the Rebel’s defense came just after half time as they managed to score six points during the third period.

On offense for the Rebels sophomore Kate Cryderman had her best game yet on varsity posting her first career double-double by scoring 18 points and pulling down 11 rebounds, to go with four steals and two assists. Amanda Wilson would add 10 points for Juanita.

The Rebels will host Mercer Island at 6 p.m. on Friday.
