The Juanita boys basketball team lost a heartbreaker Friday at Sammamish High School, 51-49, in overtime. The Rebels pushed out to a nine-point lead during the third quarter but a big fourth-quarter by the Totems forced the game into overtime. The Totems’ momentum proved to be the difference during the extra period of play.

Juanita’s Ryon Cunnigan led the team with 20 points, while Cole Graves contributed 12 points. The loss drops the Rebels to 2-5 in league play.

Juanita will travel to Mercer Island Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. tip off. The Islanders are one game ahead of Juanita in the standings.
