In a rematch of an earlier playoff game, the Juanita girls basketball team beat Liberty 53-41 to keep their state dreams alive.

During the KingCo tournament, Liberty knocked Juanita into the cosolation bracket during the semifinals, but in the rematch, Juantia took the win.

The Lady Rebels controled the match from the outset, and not even a 21 point fourth quarter from the Patriots could keep their season alive.

Mikayla Jones picked up 18 points for the Rebels, while Kate Cryderman had 14 overall.

The Juanita girls will now face Cleveland on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Bellevue College at 4:45 p.m. The winner earns the districts final spot at the state tournament, while the loser is done for the season.

The winner will be the No. 5 team from district two, traveling to the Spokane regional game on Friday, Feb. 25.
