Earning their first KingCo win of the season, and riding a two game winning streak, the Juanita boys basketball team beat Interlake in overtime Tuesday night 59-54.

The Rebels, playing at home, had the early lead, up 18-12 at the end of one quarter. Interlake battled in the second to make it a one point game 29-28 at halftime. After the break Juanita earned 14 points to Interlake’s 11, but a big final quarter for the Saints, with 12 points tied the match, sending it into overtime.

Juanita held out in the extra minutes, scoring 8 points while keeping Interlake to just three.

Avery Britton scored 13 points for Juanita in the game, with Ryan Reid earning 12 and Devan Jackson posting 11. Ty Eng added nine points, Trevor Andrews had eight, Brett Hamre had three points, Sean Brennan had two and Alex Stokes added one point.
