The Kirkland Impact boys 15U soccer team headed to the state tournament this weekend after winning three games during the Washington State Youth Soccer Association Recreational Cup championships.

The Kirkland Impact boys 15U soccer team headed to the state tournament this weekend after winning three games during the Washington State Youth Soccer Association Recreational Cup championships.

The team won three games at regionals in Vancouver, Wash. held Dec. 4-5 and the championship to advance to play for the Rec Cup this weekend at the Starfire complex in Tukwila.

The team, based at Kamiakin Junior High School, includes players who also attend Finn Hill, Northshore and Inglewood.

The Impact roster includes the following players: Ryan Bartleson, Michael Cederblom, Conor Goodwin, Nicholas Goodwin, Kellen Harlington, Sean Joergensen, Austin Knerr, Pao Lor, Ryan Lundberg, Jonah Maki, Josef Mechure, Sam Merritt, Sean Nelson, Justin O’Farrell, Robert Snyder, Keegan Taggart, and Nahom Zaid. Coaches are Phil Goodwin, Pat Bartleson, and Steve Ellwood.
