Washington State Patrol seeking Rhode Island woman, son

On Jan. 15, the Rhode Island State Police issued an AMBER Alert for 6-year-old Daniel Britt. He is believed to be with his non-custodial mother Andria Britt.

The following is a release from the Washington State Patrol:

On Jan. 15, the Rhode Island State Police issued an AMBER Alert for 6-year-old Daniel Britt. He is believed to be with his non-custodial mother Andria Britt. The suspect failed to show for a custody hearing and a judge in Rhode Island determined there was a risk of immediate harm to the child.  The child involved went missing between the dates of Jan. 7-9.

The Rhode Island State Police contacted Washington State Patrol on Jan. 16 with information that the suspect may be in Washington state, and may now be in a vehicle with Washington plates.

The Washington State Patrol has not issued an AMBER Alert in Washington state at this time, but would like the public to be aware of the alert issued from Rhode Island and to call 911 immediately if they see the following child, suspect and/or vehicles:

Suspect: Andria Britt, 34, white female, 5-foot 5-inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

Victim: Daniel Britt, 6, white male, 4-foot 3-inches tall, 50 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Possible Associated Vehicle(s):

1. Gray 1992 Chevrolet Astro Van with Washington registration, ABR1512

2. Red Ford Focus with Rhode Island Registration 942649.
