The weather nor bedtime should stop toddlers from participating in Kirkland’s Pee Wee Monster Bash carnival. Costumed preschoolers will forget about the candy when he/she steps inside the North Kirkland Community Center and enters a whirlwind of Halloween fun.

This year’s event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Oct. 31 at the North Kirkland Community Center, located at 12421 103rd Ave NE.

Preschoolers age five and under will delight in the safe and spirited activities such as swamp fishing, crafts, cookie walk, a movement maze, story-time and more.

Toy prizes will be awarded for everyone.

The carnival promises colorful, cute monster décor; nothing spooky, just kooky.

Adult volunteers (minimum age is 18) are needed to run carnival booths, each featuring a fun game or activity.

Residents are $10.95 and for non-residents $13.14 per child and there is limited space available.

Registration is encouraged as this is a sell-out event. For registration and information go to www.kirklandparks.net (Class Code No. 43342), call 425-587-3336, or visit the North Kirkland Community Center.
