Traffic affected by accident at Northeast 124th Street and Willows Road on Kirkland, Redmond boundary

Traffic control is being implemented at NE 124th Street and Willows Road after a truck hit a light pole at about 7:15 a.m. this morning. No one was injured.

Traffic control is being implemented at Northeast 124th Street and Willows Road near the boundary between Redmond and Kirkland after a truck hit a light pole at about 7:15 a.m. this morning. No one was injured.

According to a release by the city of Kirkland, both left turn lanes on Willows Road to southbound Northeast 124th into Kirkland are blocked.

There is no right (eastbound) turns from northbound Northeast 124th Street to westbound Willows Road.

The right turn lane of Willows Road to northbound Northeast 124th Street will be for through traffic and for northbound turns off of Willows Road.

The west bound lane of Willows Road east of Northeast 124th Street will be converted (reversed) for westbound traffic onto Willows Road.

Kirkland Police are currently directing traffic.
