Shively tours with St. Olaf

Kirkland resident Lauren Shively , a member of the internationally-renowned St. Olaf Choir, toured the British Iles May 27-June 6 and performed in the cities of London, Oxford, Henley-on-Thames, Swansea, Cork, Armagh and Dublin. The choir, accompanied by organist John Ferguson, sang a repertoire that included the popular British and Irish folk songs and hymns, Danny Boy, Loch Lomond, Lord of the Dance and Amazing Grace. Shively, who sings soprano, is majoring in Performance and Church Music at St. Olaf, a liberal arts college in Twin Cities. She is a Lake Washington High School graduate.
