Kirkland resident Karen Shea will hold a book release party from 5-9 p.m. on March 2 at the Lilac Cafe in downtown Kirkland.

The event is designed to celebrate the publishing of her first children’s book, “Clark the Mountain Beaver and His Big Adventure.”

This will be a fun, informal gathering with appetizers and a cash bar is available for refreshments.

Shea will be available to sign and personalize any book purchased throughout the evening, and with each book purchase, receive a “free” Clark the Mountain Beaver and His New Friends coloring book.
