Rotary Club scores hole-in-one in The Gardens at Juanita Bay

The Gardens at Juanita Bay Senior Community is honored to be the recipient of a generous $500 donation from the Rotary Club of Kirkland Downtown to help fund a new therapeutic putting green for its residents.

On Oct. 9, the Kirkland Rotary hosted an Oktoberfest Golf Tournament on the new green and presented the monetary gift to the local senior assisted living community. The golf green will provide residents the opportunity to regularly participate in a moderate outdoor exercise activity in their own backyard. Live music and a beer tasting were slated for the afternoon festivities at the Gardens at Juanita Bay, located at 11853 97th Ave NE.

Rotary Club of Kirkland Downtown meets each Tuesday morning at 7:15 a.m. at the Crab Cracker Restaurant in Kirkland.
