The following is a release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:
Drivers on Interstate 405 between Bellevue and Lynnwood should prepare for possible delays Friday evening through Monday morning.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between State Route 520 in Bellevue and Interstate 5 in Lynnwood. These closures are needed to complete paving and traffic shift work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.
Lane closures:
- Friday, May 8 to the morning of Saturday, May 9
o Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 160th Street will close from 7:30 p.m. to 9 a.m.
o Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Street and SR 520 will close from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Saturday May 9 to the morning of Sunday, May 10
o Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street to Northeast 160th Street will close from 7 p.m. to 10:30 a.m.
o Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 527 and I-5 will close from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.
o Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between I-5 and SR 527 will close from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m.
o Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street will close from 7 p.m. to noon.
- Sunday, May 10 to the morning of Monday, May 11
o Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Street and Northeast 85th Street will close from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
o Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 527 and I-5 will close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
o Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between I-5 and SR 527 will close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
o Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 70th Street will close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Ramp closures:
- Friday, May 8 to the morning of Saturday, May 9
o The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 70th Street will close from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
o The Northeast 124th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m.
o The Northeast 85th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from midnight to 6 a.m.
o The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 70th Street will close from midnight to 7 a.m.
o The Northeast 70th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from midnight to 7 a.m.
- Saturday May 9 to the morning of Sunday, May 10
o The Northeast 124th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
o The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 124th Street will close from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
- Sunday, May 10 to the morning of Monday, May 11
o The ramp from northbound I-405 to SR 527 will close from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
