Public hearing on proposal to sell county land to the City of Kirkland set for Sept. 5

The Metropolitan King County Council will hold a hearing on Sept. 5 to gather public comment on a proposed ordinance that would allow the county to sell a 1-acre parcel of land to the City of Kirkland.

The public hearing on the proposed sale will be held before the full council at the King County Courthouse, Room 1001 at 1:30 p.m.

The property is located at Northeast 124th Street in Kirkland. The city will be using the parcel for public access to the Cross Kirkland Corridor.
