During the summer, students can try new skills while practicing old ones — without the pressure of tests and grades. Youth in Overlake School’s Summer Program in Redmond have the opportunity to create, collaborate and challenge themselves in a variety of camp offerings with the end goal of having fun.

The Summer Program is open to Overlake students as well as the public.

Middle School

Grades 5-8: Discover a fun, learning adventure this summer during a variety of two-week sessions. Overlake’s Middle School Summer Program offers three, two-week sessions where students engage in project-based, hands-on learning camps to not only develop their intellect, but spark their creativity.

Upper School

Grades 9-12: Overlake’s Upper School Program will offer an Accelerated Geometry Course for credit and ACT/SAT Prep from the test preparation company Academic Approach.

Sports Camps

Grades 5-12: The Overlake Athletic Department’s mission is to teach character to multi-sport athletes in a fun, competitive environment. Week-long camps are a great opportunity for children to learn introductory fundamentals, hone and advance their athletic skills, and to be a part of a team experience.

Outdoor Education

Grades 5-12: Overlake’s Outdoor Education Program was born under the philosophy that students learn and grow in an outdoor environment. Our trips emphasize cooperation, perseverance, concentration, judgment and leadership.
