Kawai America Corporation, one of the worlds most respected makers of acoustic and digital pianos, will be hosting a Piano Sale at Northwest University’s Music Department on the NU campus from Oct. 16-19. Proceeds from the sale help to provide new instruments for the music program in future years.
“Kawai has generously begun a loan program with NU providing new pianos each year,” said Darrell Hobson, Dean—College of Arts and Sciences at NU. “When those who support the Northwest University Music Department purchase these loaned instruments, their investment helps to ensure that we can continue the piano loan program for additional years. Having these new instruments is of tremendous benefit to all our students and faculty.”
Northwest University alumni, faculty, students and friends can make a private appointment to view and purchase the pianos from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Those who make appointments on these days will enjoy the best selection. On Oct. 19, the sale will be open to the general public from noon to 5 p.m. For more information about the annual piano sale, call 425-889-5221.
