Munoz takes Toastmasters title

Kirkland Eclectics Toastmasters group recently announced that Raul Munoz won the District 2 Humorous Speech Contest. He competed against contestants from over 150 Toastmasters clubs in over six counties, including King. This is the second time Munoz, DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) has won the contest during his 20 years of Toastmasters membership.

Raul humored everyone with his speech titled “Frugalle,” a speech about being frugal in these crazy economic times. Several years ago Munoz met his sweet heart, Katie, at Toastmasters, who is now his wife. She captured the humorous speech contest title in 1989.
