Metro Transit will operate a Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, and will not operate shuttle bus service to this year’s Northwest Folklife Festival.

Metro Transit will operate a Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, and will not operate shuttle bus service to this year’s Northwest Folklife Festival.

Ride Metro bus routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 13, 24, 33, and the RapidRide D Line to Seattle Center directly. Routes 5, 16, 26, 28 and the RapidRide E Line are within walking distance.

Buses – and all traffic – may experience congestion or delays in areas near events and construction projects. Ride transit to area events.

Other holiday transit service notes include:

• The West Seattle Water Taxi will operate a Sunday schedule on Memorial Day, as will DART routes 773 and 775.

• The Vashon Island Water Taxi route will not operate on Monday.

• The South Lake Union Streetcar will operate a Sunday schedule.

For Metro bus service, if a bus route does not normally operate on Sunday, there will be no service on Memorial Day.

All Metro offices will be closed on the holiday, including the customer information phone lines.
