LWIT to hold new classes in creative writing and theater

For the first time, Lake Washington Institute of Technology is running the following courses starting early February 2014:

Creative Writing

Do you have a love of writing and a desire to write poems, short stories, and books for children?

Basic writing techniques as well as an overview of children’s literature will be explored, along with valuable information for marketing purposes in this class. We will also look at one’s fiction and non-fiction interests and writing skills. By the end of the class, you will have created at least one piece of writing that you are proud of that you may choose to publish.

Start Date: Feb. 3 – April 14 (No class on Feb. 17)

Price: $137 for 10 weeks

Theater

If you like the idea of drama, exploring theater and improvisation, or experiencing something new? Then this is the course for you.

You will experience improvisation work, theater games, trust exercises, script writing, and character study. You will meet with like-minded people and develop a trust and bond through drama.

Start Date: Feb 5th – April 9th

Price: $137 for 10 weeks
