Local student travels to Ecuador with Hamilton College

Kristin Forgrave, the daughter of Kathryn and Robert Forgrave of Kirkland, recently traveled to Ecuador with the Hamilton College Outing Club. Forgrave, a graduate of Lake Washington High School, is a junior at Hamilton.

Kristin Forgrave, the daughter of Kathryn and Robert Forgrave of Kirkland, recently traveled to Ecuador with the Hamilton College Outing Club. Forgrave, a graduate of Lake Washington High School, is a junior at Hamilton.

Eight Hamilton students and Assistant Director of Outdoor Leadership Sarah Jillings traveled to Ecuador over winter break for a three week hiking trip in the Andes Mountains. The group hiked through the Amazon rainforest up to the summits of the glaciated, volcanic peaks of Cotopaxi (19,344 feet) and Cayambe (18,996 feet).
