Lake Washington High School student’s artwork recognized nationally

Kalista Schultz, a Lake Washington High School (LWHS) senior, won an "Award of Merit" in the 2016 National PTA Reflections arts competition. Her winning entry was a photograph titled "Thaumaturgic" (performing miracles).

The Reflections awards display the creative talents of K-12 students. This year’s theme was “Let your Imagination Fly.”

Seven students won national photography awards. Schultz’ digital photography skills and original interpretation of this year’s theme were key factors in her high scores from judges.
