Every dog has his day. This summer, that day is July 28. Let the dog be your copilot as you and the family head out for a day of fun and games at Kirkland’s Go Dog, Go! Canine Festival and Dog Walk at Juanita Beach Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Get great information on pet care, license, and adoption as you visit with more than 70 local retailers, veterinary professionals and rescue groups. Don’t miss the Skyhoundz Disc Dogathon World Championships Qualifier. There will also be cool demos, including the Cascade Comets Flyball, Canine Behavior Center Agility Course, and the Emerald City K-9 Freestyle Dancers. Sign up for free contests to win great prizes!

If your pooch is 6 months or older, well-behaved, and on a short leash, then come on down to Go, Dog, Go! and grab a bite to eat. The dog walk begins at 10:30 a.m. Register by calling (425) 587-3330.
