The annual Kirkland Uncorked event featuring art, food and wine kicked off today at Marina Park and runs through July 21.
During the afternoon, attendees shopped at the many vendors’ tents, tried their hands at art and even fed carrots to alpacas and llamas from Duvall-based Heart of Dreams Alpacas.
Kirkland Uncorked features wine tasting, cooking classes, Friday Burger Brawl, and live music in the Tasting Garden (21 and over) and an all-ages Promenade with the Uncorked Market, a boat show and dog modeling contest.
“We’re looking forward to one of the best weekends ever,” said Larry Springer, owner of The Grape Choice wine shop.
